Drew Jenkins

Drew serves as a government relations consultant for corporations and entities at the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch, the Office of the Attorney General, and all other City and County Governments. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Drew spent the past decade in various legislative and government liaison roles. Throughout his career he’s put an emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with elected officials, business leaders and community activists. Most recently, Drew served as the Legislative Director to Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway. 

Most recently Drew served as the Legislative Director to Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway. While in this position Drew quarterbacked the passage of several high profile pieces of legislation, including House Bill 1 of 2012, an historic piece of legislation aimed at curbing over-prescribing pain medication in Kentucky. He also worked on cyber crime legislation that helped eliminate over 300,000 child porn images from the Internet. Drew also has been involved in coordinating numerous consumer protection legislative initiatives with different branches of government. In addition to his role as the Legislative Director, Drew also assisted Legislators and other Elected Officials interacting with the Office of the Attorney General by helping their constituents and staffs connect with the appropriate departments in the office to resolve their issues. In 2004 Drew joined the newly formed Louisville Metro Council as a Legislative Assistant. He oversaw a Council Member’s office and worked with the majority caucus to pass and reinstate all laws and ordinances that were ending because of the city and county government merger. 

Born and raised in Louisville, Drew graduated from Trinity High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Louisville.
